Bodhi & Tian Ran brand uses high-quality Taiwan paraffin oil which has passed Taiwan's safety inspection. It is safe to use as it has High Flash Point and is the only paraffin oil that uses essence from a famous french company. It does not emit black smoke. Overall a cleaner oil to use as compared to ordinary chemical essence lighting oil.
